Richard Avedon - I wish I knew him when he was alive.
Avedon is my ultimate top photography idol and last night, I finally got around to watching this amazing American Masters documentary “Richard Avedon: Darkness and Light” which shows why he is one of the greatest fashion photographers of all time. But more importantly, it shows why he inspires generations of photographers and viewers. After watching this, I’m so inspired by his personality, his talent, and his love of photography.
